Who we are

RankUp Metrics is the controller responsible for personal data described in this notice. Our business address is 7th Floor, Kalam House, 252–256 Romford Road, London E7 9HZ, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email info@rankupmetrics.com.

Personal data we collect

  • When you send an enquiry, we collect the name and email address you provide, plus any optional phone number, company name, and message.
  • If you choose to continue an enquiry in WhatsApp, the details you choose to include are placed in a message for you to review and send.
  • If you use the website assistant, the messages you submit and the assistant replies are processed to provide the response. Do not include passwords, sensitive personal data, or confidential customer information.
  • With your consent, Google Analytics processes website usage information, such as pages visited and interactions. Essential technical information may also be processed to deliver, maintain, and protect the website.

How and why we use data

  • To respond to enquiries, discuss requested work, and take steps at your request before entering a contract. The relevant lawful basis is taking steps before a contract or, for general enquiries, our legitimate interest in responding to business communications.
  • To provide the website assistant and requested website features. We process the messages you submit to provide the response you request and to operate the service securely, based on our legitimate interest in running this optional feature and responding to your question.
  • To understand website performance using Google Analytics only after you accept optional analytics. The lawful basis is your consent; you can withdraw it at any time using Cookie settings.
  • To meet legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, and protect the website and our business where necessary.

Who receives your data

We use service providers where needed to operate the website and respond to you. Enquiries submitted through the contact form are sent using Resend and delivered to our business email inbox. If you use the website assistant while its live AI connection is configured, your submitted messages are sent to the AI service configured for that feature (currently Groq); without that connection, the assistant uses a local fallback response. Google Analytics receives usage information only after consent. If you choose WhatsApp, Meta processes the message when you open and send it through WhatsApp.

We do not sell personal data. We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or the service. Providers may process data in countries outside the UK or EEA; where required, we use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards.

How long we keep data

Enquiries and related correspondence are kept only for as long as needed to respond, manage a potential or existing business relationship, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Website assistant messages are used to generate replies and are not intentionally stored by the website as a conversation history after the session; the configured AI provider may process them under its own service terms. Analytics retention is managed through Google Analytics settings. We securely delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live and the applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, request a portable copy, and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, email info@rankupmetrics.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) or, if you are in the EEA, your local data protection supervisory authority.

Security and updates

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this notice when our practices or legal requirements change; the latest version and its update date will appear on this page.
